Cancellation Policy

We appreciate that our patients’ circumstances can be dynamic, but when appointments are missed or cancelled without adequate notice others in need of care don’t get to see a practitioner as quickly as they otherwise would.

In the case of no-shows or late cancellations (within 24hrs) we therefore charge;

a fee of 50% of the treatment charge for late cancellation (less than 24hrs notice)

a fee of 75% of the treatment charge for late cancellation (less than 3hrs notice)

a fee of 100% of the treatment charge for non attendance.

Accounts

& 3rd Party Payees

​Accounts are required to be settled at the end of each appointment unless previously arranged. Invoices sent to third parties or not settled on the day may attract an administration fee.

In certain cases we may directly bill insurance companies, NDIS, Aged Care Packages, TAC, Worksafe, Medicare or Veterans’ Affairs with prior approval. It is the patient’s responsibility to keep track of the appointments attended so that coverage is not exceeded. Any invoice not covered by the third party payee will be passed on to the patient to settle.

Non attendance fees are not covered by TAC, Workcover, Medicare or Veterans’ Affairs and are unable to be claimed on Private Health Insurance; these will be billed to the patient directly.

All appointment changes are required to be made via phone. Although we endeavour to achieve a quick response time changes by text or email may not be actioned promptly.
